Encouraging Yourself and Others

“I’m so scared and I don’t know what to do” she said to me when we got on a call.

I too was faced with a scenario last week where a legal situation we need to remedy for our company looked really big and scary. I didn’t know what to do either…

We all feel this way at times as we get overwhelmed by the situation in front of us. 

Our job situation has suddenly changed and we need to make some big decisions

A relationship is going sideways and we don’t know how to turn it around

Some curveball has come at us from left field and we’re a little stunned…

 

As I was praying through the legal situation, Holy Spirit encouraged me with those famous verses in the Bible where God is giving Joshua instructions on how to face, and conquer, the big obstacles he was seeing on the border of the Promised Land.

Learning to rely on God in the midst of the uncertainty has revolutionized my and my clients lives. Understanding Who He is and how to live out His promises is an invitation that He is extending to us all. He is the One Who gives us the courage to face anything.
