“Why do I always act that way when I’m stressed?” I asked God in my frustration
His answer really surprised me.
“Because it’s the way I created you to act”
“Wow Lord, please tell me more”
What followed has been years of unpacking who God created me to be, and it’s been wonderful.
So how can you discover more of your unique personality style too?
You know what it’s like when you’re getting together for a family gathering and you joke about Uncle Joey who always wears the ‘loud’ sweater. Or cousin Janet who laughs at EVERY joke. Or that Dad HAS to be the one who carves the roast.
Each of these are clues to personality styles that are God-given. Traits that He has specifically gifted us with in order for us to live out His wonderful plan for our lives.
So let me ask you a question. Are you feeling like you don’t know who you are, or like you’re stuck in a rut? I know what that feels like, and it’s frustrating right?
Over the years as I’ve learned more about how God created me to be, it has given me a freedom to be fully ‘me’ and live intentionally. Discovering this can do the same for you! By understanding your unique personality style, you can lean into the way God made you and enjoy being powerfully ‘you’!
