Stress is one of the most common and disruptive things in most of our lives today.

It's the cause of illness, relationship break up's and deep dissatisfaction with our everyday life.

This morning I noticed how stressed I was and how much it is disrupting my week. As I sat with the Lord, He revealed 3 keys that helped me go from lying awake at 1am to being deeply reassured that He's got me.

Is Your Light Turned On?

There is a song that we sing in Sunday School and it says, "this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..."

I love the sentiment and lesson behind this song, and I've always hungered to let our BIG light shine (Mat 5:16).

On Saturday night, I realized that my light wasn't shining in a certain area (I was frankly quite scared of doing this thing). Then an opportunity came up to 'face the fear and do it anyway' and I took the leap...
