We all know when we're not doing the things that we were created to do.
Things feel unnaturally difficult, and those passions that make us come alive don't have an outlet.
Because let's face it, there is nothing quite so sweet as operating in your 'sweet spot'.
There are ways that you have created to be that just fit and seem right.
Ways you think. Ways you act. Ways you react. And these are all woven into the fabric of your being. You are a gift to the world and you (and we) benefit the most when you are living fully YOU.
Listen to today's podcast episode for 3 clues to discovering who you were created to be. We're excited for you to discover and live out your purpose.

God is a gentleman - and He often waits for us to invite Him into a situation before He moves on our behalf.
But, when we give Him that permission, watch out, because He will bring Heaven to Earth with a resounding "yes".
As you listen to today's podcast, realize how powerful your invitation is, and how much your circumstances can shift as you give Him permission to be God.

God Will Even Use The Stars To Provide For You

I took some time out this weekend to go and do my Christmas shopping. I got up early and was there as the shop doors opened, because I really don’t like being in all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas crowds.
As I looked for gifts for the people I love, I talked to God about what He thought would really bless them and by the time we were done my heart was full.
The Christmas season can be a time of heightened emotion. Some of us are happy, some of us are sad, and a lot of us are stressed and looking forward to a little R&R.
As you navigate this season, take hold of the great opportunity to dwell on the Truth that this season represents - God really, really loves you.
No matter who you’re with, or who you’re missing this Christmastime, there is no-one on Earth who will ever love you as much as He does.
In today’s podcast episode I share a piece of the Christmas story that I’ve never noticed before. A new aspect of God’s kindness that has me floored by His intentional goodness towards us. You will be so encouraged by how good He wants to be to you!

When We Celebrate, We Accelerate

You know when you’re in the middle of a circumstance and it’s just so much easier to complain about it than try (again) to find a way out?
I know, me too. I sometimes fall into that trap wayyyyy too easily.
Well, I heard something this weekend that just stopped me in my tracks! Our Pastor was speaking and he repeated this phrase that he’d heard somewhere and it resonated so deeply with us that we all collectivity said “wow”!
He said, “when you complain, you remain. When you celebrate, you accelerate”
Mic drop…
It’s such a profound picture of the Truth in Phil 4:8 and it has the power to completely turn our complaints into praise.
In today’s podcast episode I share a story of how a friend of mine saw God do something super cool, because she chose to praise instead of complain.

Be Strong and Courageous

On Tuesday evening I looked everyone in the class straight in the eye, and reminded them to be strong and courageous.
We've all had times when we're scared to step into what God is calling us into. I have hidden away from what I'm called to do for a long time!
But, no more! I'm saying "yes" to God's call, and I encourage you to do the same too.
In Joshua 1:9 we hear the Lord commanding Joshua to be strong and courageous. The beautiful thing is that He then gives him instructions on how to do that.
In today's podcast episode I share 3 keys that will help you to say "yes" and step into the very reason God created you for.
Jesus is inviting you on an adventure today. Will you accept?

Where Do You Shine Best?
Nov 30, 2021

I walked down the hallway and noticed a piece of trash that was lying on the floor. Literally as I was walking towards it, two other people ahead of me stepped over it and left it where it was. One of them was my husband!
When I asked him why he hadn’t picked up the trash, he said, “what trash - I didn’t see anything?”
When I got over my irritation 😉, we talked it through and I realized that because his mind was elsewhere, he genuinely didn’t see anything. As I processed this through with God, He showed me how our gifts actually cause us to focus on what’s important – so that we can do something about it.
Wow, this was a game-changer for me, and our marriage. So, instead of defaulting to grumbling, I began to unpack the depth of the gifts I have and the gifts my husband has. It’s fascinating to know how YOU were specifically created to shine best.
I have guided so many people to discover their uniqueness, and in today’s podcast episode I share a key with you to help you discover yours too.

Giving and Receiving Gifts

“That thing that my husband does just gets on my last nerve!”
We’ve all said something like this about someone we know.
- When we’re the excitable one, then calm can be irritating.
- When we’re angry about an injustice then seeing lethargy is intolerable.
- When something hurts our heart and others seem indifferent, it can feel unbearable.
For years my desire to have a life full of activity and my husband’s seeming desire to be still, conflicted, and our marriage suffered. There would be lots of little arguments where I’d plan something and he’d refuse to go. Or he’d be enjoying a quiet afternoon and get frustrated because I wanted to go out.
As we began to understand that we were just fundamentally different in these areas, we knew that it could either be a constant argument or we could learn to appreciate each other’s differences.
I’m happy to say that because we are committed to our marriage and through Holy Spirit’s help, we learned a huge lesson in seeing, validating and appreciating the gifts in each other. Now we’re way more able to appreciate one another, instead of disagree over our differences.
As you listen to today’s podcast you will
- Learn how to acknowledge that God gave us each different gifts
- See other’s gifting as a blessing and not something to ‘fight’ against
- Partner with each other and amplify your strengths or strengthen your weaknesses
Share this episode with someone you love and let them experience the goodness of God’s good gifts too.

The Power of your God-Given Imagination

Knowing the future would be so cool right?
I’ve been stuck in circumstances where there seems to be no solution - and all I really want to know is “which way is out?”
We’ve all been there, and done that.
Even Jesus asked His Father if there was any way of seeing us saved, without having to go to the Cross. It was a horrible situation and Jesus was feeling the pressure.
What got Him through? The same thing that can get us through the situation we may find ourselves in. Our God-given imagination.
In Heb 12:2 it says, “...for the joy set before Him…”
He could envision what was on the other side of the Cross and that’s what helped Him to see past what was going on in His life at the time, and look towards the future that filled Him with joy.
As you listen to today’s podcast episode you will see all the places where God invites us into asking Him about what is to come in the future. He is actively wanting to show us what He’s ready to reveal and see happen in and through your life.
