How Big Are You Dreaming?

There is such an invitation to dream big at the moment.

We have all been through a refining process for the past year and been given the opportunity to see what is important to us and which is no longer important.

As we come from the heart of God, He is inviting us to dream with Him about all that He wants to see done on the earth. What His heart is for the people you are called to and how He wants to love on them through you.

This is your invitation to adventure with Jesus and dream from Heaven's heart for mankind.

God Knows Your Name

This morning I watched a video about a shepherd and his flock. It was the most amazing thing to see how well this man knew and loved the sheep that he looked after.

It's just the same with how much God loves and knows us.

In Luke 12:7 Jesus said, “What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you? What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world." (TPT)

Whose Fault Is It?

So often when things go wrong the first one we tend to blame is God.

"God, how could You let this happen?"
"God, why didn't You do something about that?"
"God, do You even care?"

The we take matters into our own hands and try to be our own savior...

 

At the moment we are experiencing record-breaking winter storms in Texas and many people are without power in below freezing temperatures.

When you're the one who is facing bone-chilling cold, no water and no electricity, there is such a temptation to be angry at God because of the circumstances you find yourself in.

As always, Jesus has an invitation for us, and a way to help us navigate these times when we just don't understand why things look bad. 

There is a hopeful way to see what is really going on and to navigate it from the powerful place of knowing how loved we are by our Heavenly Father.

The Invitation To Heal

I woke up from a dream with the verse ‘We love, because He first loved us’ really strong in my thoughts.

As I’ve sat unpacking this verse with the Lord this morning and asking Him why He’s highlighting it, I realize that I’m being given an opportunity for healing.

Has this ever happened to you?

Times when an issue that has caused pain in your life just seems to be ‘in your face’ all the time? 

In His kindness towards us, God bring things to our attention when He knows that it’s time to see us healed from them. And the amazing thing is that when He does that, He gives us what’s needed to help us.

What Are You Leaving On The Table?

There is something so beautiful that happens when a thought pops into your head and introduces you to something that you've never thought of before. 

I was just talking through life with the Lord this morning and suddenly I had a thought that didn't have anything to do with our conversation. But, it was full of life and hope, so I knew it was from Him.

He whispered, “Today is so full of possibilities”

I sat bolt upright with me eyes wide with wonder.

“Wow Lord, I agree. Please tell me more”

I remembered that Heb 4:16 had been looping in my head for the past few days, so I went and looked it up.

Oh My Word! If you read from verse 14-16 you can see all the possibility we’re being offered (it’s pretty cool in the Message version)

Then He brought a story to mind of a friend of mine who said, “yes” to this invitation to adventure, and the wisdom God gave him that NO ONE had ever thought of before!
